Sand
River sand falls under the fine quality of sand construction found near river banks and streams. This sand is white-grey and is one of the finest sands used in the construction of buildings.
They are mainly used for concrete and masonry work. They can also be used for RCC, plastering, and many other brick or block work. This sand consists of a smoother texture and a better shape.
Blue Metals
Blue metals are also referred to as graded aggregates. It has different sizes and is used for construction purposes. It is widely used in the construction of buildings and concrete works.
Size of Blue Metals
- 6mm – 1/4 inch
- 12mm – 1/2 inch
- 20 mm – 3/4 inch
- 40 mm – 1 1/2 inch
- 63 mm – 2 1/2 inch
Bricks
A brick is a type of block used to build walls, pavements, and others in construction. The term brick correctly denotes a block composed of dried clay, but is now also used informally to denote other blocks of construction that are chemically cured. Using mortar, adhesives or by interlocking them, bricks can be joined together. In numerous classes, types, materials, and sizes, bricks are produced.

M & Plastering Sand
Manufactured sand is an alternative for river sand. The demand for sand has increased enormously due to the rapidly growing construction industry, causing adequate river sand deficiency in most parts of the world. The use of manufactured sand has increased due to the depletion of good quality river sand for construction use.
P Sand is used for wall mounting and brickwork purposes. For block masonry and plastering purposes, the granule thickness is between 150 microns and 2.35 mm.
Quarry Dust
Quarry dust is produced during quarrying activities. It can be used as a partial replacement for fine aggregates. This material, which is cheaper than fine sand, reduces overall construction costs and helps conserve depleting natural sand deposits. The investigation shows that the replacement of fine aggregates by 40% of quarry dust results in a higher strength than conventional concrete.
Filling Sand
Filling sand, as the name implies, is a type of sand used primarily for filling purposes.
Common applications for this type of sand include the use of sand as a base material for laying concrete, paving or asphalt, raising levels and filling large holes.
